Brief description of the project content:
Hungary Aliment Kft. received a grant of HUF 148,293,426 based on its application submitted under the call entitled “Support for the development of processing plants” with reference number KAP-RD04a-RD04b-2-24.

The objective of the project is the development of the poultry processing plant located at Fő u. 8, Felsőlajos. Within the framework of the project, a 150 kVA AC grid-feed photovoltaic power plant was installed, the cooling system was modernised, and a slicing machine and a packaging machine were purchased.

With the help of the photovoltaic power plant, at least 32% of the poultry processing plant’s energy consumption is supplied by renewable energy sources. The investment represents a major step forward in the company’s efforts to use renewable energy sources and also contributes to the objective of supporting green investments as set out in the call for proposals.

Thanks to the grant, the company also carried out equipment procurement and technological development, enabling it to create a more competitive corporate and production structure with higher value-added products.

The implemented development simultaneously serves to improve technological preparedness, reduce environmental impact and the amount of primary energy used, and strengthen the company’s market position and environmentally conscious economic competitiveness.

The project was implemented with co-financing from the Government of Hungary and the European Union.
